This Privacy Policy explains what information Teamup ("we") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to buyers, guest checkouts, and sellers who use the Teamup marketplace (the "Platform").
You give us: your name and contact details (email and/or phone), shipping address at checkout, account credentials, and — for sellers — business name, storefront details, listings, and photos you upload.
Transactions: what you entered, bid, won, and were charged. Payment card details are collected and processed by the seller's payment processor, not stored by Teamup.
Automatically: basic device and usage information and security signals needed to operate and protect the Platform.
To run the marketplace: create and secure your account, run sealed-bid rounds, process orders through the seller's processor, send you confirmations and results by email or text, provide seller tools and analytics, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with law.
With sellers you buy from — the details needed to fulfill your order (such as name and shipping address).
With payment processors (for example, Stripe, PayPal, or Square) that handle the actual charges directly.
With service providers (such as email/SMS and hosting) acting on our behalf, and as required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal information, and Teamup's products do not show third-party ads.
We use essential cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember your cart. We aim to default to the most privacy-preserving settings. (Counsel/analytics choices to finalize.)
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and limit access to it.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Platform, meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, then delete or anonymize it.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and opt out of non-essential communications, subject to applicable law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (for example under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA). Contact us to exercise them. (Counsel to finalize rights and response process.)
The Platform is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Policy; the version and effective date above will change, and we will notify you where appropriate.
